This Macallan Boutique Collection 2017 bottling is the second release in the series released to celebrate the opening of the distillery’s first ever standalone boutique store, at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. Much like the 2016 edition, this whisky was hugely popular upon release and as such it’s very hard to come by today.

Masterfully crafted by the Macallan Master Distillers and Masters of Wood, this whisky delivers an exquisite tasting experience, just as you would expect from one of Scotland’s best distilleries. It’s rich and full with honeyed fruits, winter berries, Christmas cake, oak and subtle citrus. Bottled at cask strength, this is an excellent example of just how good Macallan whisky can be and it’s highly collectable today.

A very special bottling of The Macallan, released originally for the distillery’s boutique in Taiwan’s Taoyuan international Airport in 2017. It’s a combination of a select number of casks that were kept aside for visitors to Easter Elchies House, beside the distillery. It’s a classic Macallan, with balanced spice and fruit, and a touch of charred oak on the finish. Very rare and a must for Macallan collectors.
