This wonderful expression from Dictador was distilled in 1998 and matured for 22 years in a Port cask, before bottling in 2020 with a total of 900 bottles produced. Overseen by master blender Hernan Parra, this is a top-notch rum from the Columbian distillery.
Nose: Exceptionally fruity, with big notes of juicy tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango. This is backed with a lovely rich vanilla note and some oak spices for depth.
Palate: A rich and rounded palate of vanilla, white chocolate and chopped almonds, with a hint of strawberry and cassis. Rich and fruity.
Finish: More of the cassis and white chocolate notes with hints of raspberry too.
Limited to 900 bottles in the world.
